Boil chicken or beef turns black – stainless steel pan …?

When boiling the chicken, corned beef or stew meat, water, put meat in black, even if I'm with stainless steel pots. I have a pit that descends 25 feet in soil with 3 or 4 underground springs that flow into it and I do not use chlorine. There are no houses near me at 1 / 4 mile or less. Water comes directly from this property in my house. Can anyone give me suggestions what is the cause? Thank you for any help you can give me.
