Portable air conditioners do not use much electricity?
I have a portable air conditioner in my apartment. It works, but barely. My electricity is included in the rent, so I do not know how much is the electricity bill, but my landlord told me to keep the air conditioner during the day when I'm not home. But if I do, when I return, I can crank all the way, and my apartment does not get cold until about 2am. I thought about buying other units, thinking that perhaps 2 will not have to work hard to cool the place as we do. I try to find the most effective way to keep cool. It's hot here in the desert this time of year!
Sounds like the units of air conditioning is too small for an apartment. Usually, we use a lot of electricity, but could buy one that is more energy savings. There are ususally a label on it says about how cost annually to run. You must obtain the minimum cost to operate.
